One of my biggest dream is to visit as many gardens as possible around the Europe. This year on my list was the Balchik Palace and Botanical Garden constructed for Queen Marie of Romania between 1926 and 1937 . A magical place I could say now after my visit there. Is a place where you find peace and harmony, simple but in the same time majestic, a place that I cannot describe in words, is a must see place to truly understand its beauty.

One of the botanical garden’s main attraction is the outdoors collection of large-sized cactus species arranged on 1,000 square metres, the second of its kind in Europe.

In one word – a must see place !

I just love roses, simple, double, wild, colorful and joyful view. Last weekend I managed to get to a nice event hosted by “Stațiunea de Cercetări Horticole – USAMV Cluj-Napoca“.

I don’t have enough word to describe their beauty so I’ll just put some pictures 🙂

ne-am oprit putin la Palatul Brukenthal din Avrig. Din pacate doar o mica parte din el mai poate fi vizitata, restul camerelor sun inchiriate la diverse firme. Intr-o camera e amenajata o expozitie medievala iar in alte doua o expozitie cu obiecte vechi sasesti.

Insa ce m-a impresionat cel mai tare a fost gradina, chiar daca nu era amenajata decat zona din partea restaurantului si hotelului, maretia si grandoarea ei de odinioara se resimt si azi.

Dupa parerea mea toate locurile astea ar trebui restaurate si reinviata gloria lor din vremurile trecute.

la Castelul de Lut din Valea Zanelor. Ne-am pornit pe vreme buna si am ajuns pe ploaie, o ploaie marunta si deasa de zici ca vroia inadins sa ne alunge sa nu putem admira frumusetea locului.

Dar n-am fugit. Am facut poze sa vi le arat si voua si ne-am bucurat de munca unor oameni ingeniosi.

Momentan se poate vedea doar pe exterior, plus o camaruta care este in amenajare. In curand insa, spun ei, locul se va transforma in pensiune cu 10 camere.

Ieri am fost in vizita la o plantatie de lavanda din Dej. Un loc linistitor, parfumat si bine ingrijit.

Ne-am plimbat printre tufele de lavanda, am admirat albinute harnice si fluturi zglobii, am cules cate un buchetel de flori si ne-am racorit cu limonada cu lavanda 🙂

Abia astept sa se mai racoreasca putin sa coc niste biscuiti cu lavanda 🙂
